Kevin Shea Adams is an artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. He began as an academic pursuing philosophy and music, supporting himself through work in photography and design. After beginning to freelance as an arts and culture journalist in New York, he brought together his photography, writing and interviews in a unique way that continues to inform his approach in both personal and commercial projects.

His photo essays have been featured on several occasions in The New York Times and his ongoing commercial work in design and technology includes clients such as Shaper Tools, Design Within Reach, IDEO, 3M and Apple.

Adams studied Philosophy at UC Berkeley before completing an MFA at Mills College. He is an avid surfer, guitarist and music producer. After many years in New York and Los Angeles, he now resides in Sausalito, CA.
